I recently visited Monro Muffler Brake & Service for brakes. The bill was 300 dollars for brakes and rotors, and they ended up bending both the steel rims beyond repair, breaking at least one steel belt in a tire doing nearly 400 dollars in damage to the vehicle. Then realizing they had done the damage to the tires, they attempted to sell me two new tires, which had less than 7K miles on them, and refused to fix any of the damage. On top of that, another tech, who inspected the car several days earlier (the reason for me going to get the brakes) told me that he was appalled they even let me leave there with the rims and tires damaged the way they were, since it was a severe blowout hazard. So when you're in the market to have some extra damage done to your vehicle, free of charge, you know where to look.
