We live in North Port Fl We have an older Ford truck. We took it in for a complete check. The service Mechanic said we needed to change out the spark plugs and give it a tune up.We explain we are going up to the mountains for our vacation in TN for New Years. We started on our road trip & made it out of Fl until broke down in GA it was raining & 20 degrees out side(no fun). Thank goodness my husband knows how to fix things.The guy at Tire Choice made a big mistake when he changed out our spark plugs he striped the main head gasket & we had no idea he did this. It made a load poping noise & loss power> we pull over to see the spark plug was dangling out from the head cylinder.We rigged it until we got to a Ford dealer ship it took two days to fixed it & REALLY messed up our vacation. We went back to North Port and showed that the truck had to be repaired & we lossed hundreds of dollars for there mistake.The Mechanic agreed he had made this mistake. All we wanted was the cost to fixed the head & the out of pocket for rental car.Tire Choice said we can replace your shocks and a few other thing for your out of pocket expense. The Mechanic ask us how's that sound? It's been over 3 mo & now the're saying to take it up with the CEO.What about our time & loss for our vaction? No numbers to reach any one. What a horrible way to treat your customers! We have done business with them from day one & have three other cars we service on a regular base, & we also have our family members going there. Wake up business owners.
