We were buying a car. Sales Manager told us to tell the lender that we had not purchased another car the week before so we could buy this other car. We did not want to go into the the loans with lies. We undid the deal but we had written a down payment check. They kept the money did not want to return it and called it collateral damage. We do not think this is right. The car is back in stock. So they made money from us. We have the texts from the sales manager stating for una to lie to lender.
