I requested a cab from Deluxe Taxicab Svc at 1:30 pm to get my son to work at 2:00pm. At 1:40pm my phone rings with a number I don't recognize so I don't answer. No message was left. Immediately I receive another call a different number again I don't answer. This time a message was left. The dispatcher asking if I still needed a cab. I hit the call back number and it was the dispatcher asking if I needed a cab. I said yes the dispatcher tells me "Since you didn't answer your phone I sent the cab to another caller". I told him if I don't recognize the number I don't answer. The dispatcher tells me "I can't help it if you have bill collectors calling you I'll try to get a cab out there". I tell him I get many harassing calls. His response was "I wonder why". At 2:30 a cab driver calls for my street address, spelling,and major crossroads. It has now been an hour since I first called. At 3:00pm 90 minutes since I requested a cab it arrives. My son was over an hour late for work. How can this dispatcher talk to customers this way? IS THIS YOUR STANDARD WAY OF DOING BUSINESS? DOES ANYONE CARE?
