I have just found out that Wylie has allowed Kaye to fire my son Kevin Walker, WI, from his driving job at Wylie. I am trying to celebrate my birthday today. But this news was SO unexpected and not warranted, that I am very sad. Maybe somebody can give him another chance?? He said she claimed he had given notice of his quitting, but that is not true. I helped him to acquire more driving credentials in the last two weeks: hazmat and pass card for borders. If Kaye got information from any other driver about Kevin's so called quitting, it was not true. It is unfortunate that Kaye listened to gossip and then acted on it. Kevin had every intention of staying with Wylie for the long haul. He did not want to quit whatsoever. I am one of the few people who knows his skill in driving truck, and in completing jobs for people without fail. I think that Kaye should rethink her decision. It would be a really nice thing, you know? I think she has acted in haste and without the confirmation of management. I thought that when someone is given notice of termination, that there had to be confirmation from management--not just a flippant reply. Please let him come back to work at Wylie. You won't be sorry. And maybe this old lady he calls Mom will have a better day. Thank you.
