commentThis company was over 2 and a half hours late to pick up my vehicle and then refused to pick my vehicle up because I left. I had informed my insurance company that I left my keys with a manager at work and said that was fine. Upon calling Brooks the dispatcher was very rude and basically told me he took over phones an hour ago and he really did not know what time I called anyways so you'll have to find someone else to tow it. Very poor customer service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

commentUsed Brooks Towing service today after insurance set up towing using roadside assistance. Originally quoted $5 per mile for anything above 5 miles. Then a call was made and was then $5 per mile over 10 because insurance was covering $50. Paid $35 for the overage in cash and received a receipt after asking on a piece of notebook paper. 1 hour later received call that I owed another $50 and needed to pay over phone by credit card or they were going to have to tow my car back to their shop and couldn't leave it at repair shop. Told me if he wasn't paid, it affected his paycheck. Extra $50 was for a "hook up" fee they forgot to charge. Had I known up front, I would have told them to leave, very unprofessional. I'm not sure how many tow jobs are done without doing a hook up and figured that might be included in the high price of $5 per mile. I would look elsewhere when needing a tow.

commentI would never recommend this company to anyone after a recent experience. My car had to be towed after a accident near noblesville on Friday. Since I live almost two hours away from there it would have been nice to have been given information or a business card as to where my car was going but that didn't happen. The driver was very rude and acted as if he was too busy to answer any questions. Actually, he laughed when asked when I might be able to get my car back to my area. I was charged a ridiculous fee for the original tow. It happened over a holiday weekend therefore the first chance I had to make arrangements to get my car back to a local shop was Tuesday. This company was notified that a local company would be coming to pick up my car and bring it back to my home town. The company that I sent was made to wait 2 hours upon arrival to get the gate opened so that they could get my car. Also, they were charged a $35 fee just to drive my car out of the fence. This company is a hack. Do not recommend to anyone.
